JOB ROLES ANNOUNCED:
1) A company which designs leather handbags and accessories is seeking a NEC to assist driving its international distribution forward. The ideal individual will have an insight into international licensing and distribution, be able to open doors and bring added value to the company.
2) A social networking company with a single focus; to create a positive environment for companies and individuals is seeking a Sales and Marketing professional and a Finance Director.
The ideal candidate for the Sales & Marketing role will have a strong understanding of the power of online communities and have demonstrated success in selling to his/her market.
The Finance Director should ideally have a strong record in raising finance for start-ups and a history of structuring and guiding a company through strong growth to impressive ROI for those who invest. These roles are offering sweat equity.
3) Somerset based Internet media and live events business seeks experienced Sales Director in the arena of advertising and sponsorship. Salary, bonus and commissions on offer. The right person would also be offered share options.
4) An experienced Sales Manager/Director is sought for a software company which has developed a generic authoring tool product targeted at the e-Book/Digital Publishing market.
Target market is global users ‘consuming’ digital publications on tablet devices such as the iPad and Kindle through laptops to desktop PC systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and could come from software, education or publishing.
This role is paying sweat equity to start, leading to a % ownership of the business. It is a global position and could lead to extensive international travel. The candidate can be home based.
5) A dynamic children's health charity that rises to challenges and maximises opportunities is looking for a Treasurer to join its Board of Trustees. Key responsibilities will include monitoring financial administration, ensuring relevant policies and procedures are in place and contributing to strategic plans. This role is paying initial sweat equity and expenses paid.
6) Venture backed, online swimwear and lingerie business based in Poole, seeks Non-Executive Chairman, for 2 days a month, to work with MD on growing the business. Individual must have extensive e-commerce experience. Salary and share options will be on offer to the right candidate.

Having qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and after a period in its recovery team he moved to the English and American Insurance Company prior to joining Smith & Williamson (formerly Solomon Hare) in 1988.
David focuses on owner-managed businesses and has particular experience of business acquisitions and sales, management buy-outs, due diligence, bank and venture capital finance raising and spends a lot of time with business owners and directors giving strategic advice.
Over the last 20 years David has completed more than 300 deals and has worked with a large variety of companies ranging from early stage to the likes of Bradfords Building Supplies, The A J Langley Group and Aardman Animations.
The Smith & Williamson corporate finance team is the largest in the South West and has built a formidable reputation on its ability to work closely with clients, understanding their needs and completing successful transactions.
